Binti has some amazing character development and shows great bravery and commitment to peace which I admired but she is still fragile and the author leaves the ending on a hopeful note. Binti is brilliant and as self-aware as she can be at the age of 16. The warfare plot proceedes in its brutality but is now moved on by a series of unnecessay plot twists that are meant to be shocking but are closer to being gratuitous SPOILER.
